Economic sustainability: as a complement to other economic sectors. The construction and maintenance of facilities implies creating new jobs, using local products and tapping the region’s existing infrastructure.

Ecological sustainability: a firm commitment backed by environmental impact studies, with special emphasis placed on the use by golf courses of phase-three treated wastewater and organic fertilizers based on compost created at the courses themselves.

Social sustainability: new public areas which expand on the sports and leisure activities available in Pego, encouraging people of different cultures to come together, and ensuring the conservation of social heritage and traditions.
